As the November 16 gubernatorial election in Ondo State gathers momentum, farmers residing in the government reserve areas of the State have reiterated their unalloyed support and unwavering loyalty to the election bid of the Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as the right and credible candidate.

In a meeting convened on Sunday by their leader, Chief Albert Ewerinde Adetona, the farmers described Aiyedatiwa’s candidacy as a divine mandate, which they believe will salvage Ondo State from the brink of collapse.

At the meeting, which was attended by all community representatives, the farmers unanimously resolved to mobilise thousands of their members to support and vote for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, citing his deep concern for the welfare of the masses.

The group highlighted several ongoing developmental projects across the state under Aiyedatiwa’s dynamic administration, including capital projects like the construction of new farm settlement roads in Akure South/North Local Government Areas.

They especially noted the governor’s special intervention in the welfare of farmers within the reserves.

The group urged eligible voters in Ondo State to exercise their franchise wisely by casting their votes for Aiyedatiwa, whom they described as the only formidable candidate, based on his proven track record.

Leaders from various farm settlements promised their full support, each leader asserting that Aiyedatiwa would secure the highest number of votes in their respective communities.

Speaking on behalf of the farmers, Chief Albert Ewerinde Adetona assured the All Progressives Congress of the group’s votes and unwavering support.

Also in attendance were; Chief Abidolu Bale of Olorunsogo, Kahi Olonileowo Oloja of Oloja Oloruntedo, Chief Rotimi of Ikawo Village, Phillip Banjo, General Chairman of Laoso Community, Chief Adekunle Akinwale Bale of Abana Village, Oloja Dammy Alagbado of Alli Village, Alhaji Moshood of Tokunbo Village, Chief Alaba of Onikoko Village, Mr Oluwa Tosin of Adejori Camp, and Mr Olabanji Bolawa of Iluha Community.
