Hon. Oluwaseyi Joseph Kolawole has extends his congratulatory message to Ife Ehindero of the All Progressive Congress on his victory at the Akoko North Federal Consistuency Bye election held on the 3rd of February 2024.
In his Statement, the wide margin between Ife Ehindero and the first runner up during the Saturday bye election is an attestation that Ife is truly loved by the people.
Ife Ehindero of the All Progressive Congress who pulled 35,504 votes winning his strong opposition from the People’s Democratic Party Hon. Lekan Bada who pulled 15,328 votes in the election.
Hon. Oluwaseyi Joseph Kolawole also thanked the Governor, H.E. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Minister of Interior Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and all the stakeholders who played significant roles in securing the success of All Progressive Congress candidate at the just concluded bye election.
“The Governor, Hon. Minister of Interior and all stakeholders and all the party members played vital and significant roles in this victory” he said.
Meanwhile Hon. Oluwaseyi urged Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero, the Member-elect to represent Akoko North Federal Consistuency at the green chamber to follow the giant strides of his predecessor, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo who has raised the bar of Representative in the Federal Consistuency.
“Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo BTO has raised the bar of governance and politics in the Federal Consistuency and the new member-elect is expected to follow same and do more” he added.
