ODHA MAJORITY LEADER, HON. OLUWOLE OGUNMOLASUYI (WEST) PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO OWO CHURCH SHOOTING SURVIVORS
……Donates Cash for Support
……Assures them Ondo State Government commitment towards their wellbeing
The Ondo State House of Assembly Majority Leader, Hon. Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi (WEST) visited the survivors of St. Francis Catholic Church to check their wellbeing. While the State Government has continued to play its role in ensuring the survivors are treated, the majority leader has taken a further step to ensure everything is going well.
Hon. Ogunmolasuyi told the victims that though he had been playing a vital role in the background, he needed to see things firsthand. In his words, “I am an indigene of Owo, and I am pained this sad event happened unexpectedly. We all know insecurity has been happening everywhere, and Ondo State Government under Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu is doing enough to ensure lives and property is safe. However, the government will not rest until they get to the root and bring the perpetrators to face the wrath of the law.”
The ODHA Majority Leader took a walk round to check on all patients, offered support, and gave them cash for their upkeep. Hon. Ogunmolasuyi also had words with the doctors and nurses urging them to let humanity comes first by attending to the patients’ needs where and when necessary. After checking up on all patients, he assured them he would always be available should anything comes up and urged them to stay strong.
He further appreciated the medical practitioners in Owo starting from the Federal medical Centre and St Luis Hospital for their quick response and excellent treatment being given to all affect patients. The majority leader hopes that everyone gets well soon so they can return to their normal life. Finally, he said security is everyone’s business, and any strange movement should be reported to the security agency.
