I want to heartily congratulate our amiable Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, on your appointment as the South West Zonal Co-ordinator for Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.
This appointment which is well-deserved and does not come to us as a surprise as you have consistently been advocating for power shift to the South after the eight years of the Buhari Presidency.
As the Chairman of both the South West Governors’ Forum and the Southern Governors’ Forum, you have shown uncommon leadership, courage, boldness and commitment. You have worked assiduously to justify the confidence reposed in you by your colleagues.
Sir, your capacity to excel in your new task is not in doubt because of your knack for excellence and results. You have never disappointed in accomplishing tasks assigned you both in your professional and political careers.
It is my strong conviction that with you in the lead, the victory of our great party, the APC, in the entire South West Zone of Nigeria in the forthcoming general elections is certain.
