INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY 2022: HON.AKINRIBIDO SALUTES ONDO KINGDOM YOUTHS.
The Honourable member representing Ondo west constituency 1 in the state assembly,Hon. Tomide Akinribido,has today sent a message to youths of Ondo Kingdom in celebration of 2022 international youth day.
The message read; “I wish to felicitate all youths worldwide on the occasion of the international youth day celebration.
“I particularly salute the youths of Ondo Kingdom for their commitment and passionate zeal towards the attainment of a greater Ondo society. The vigour and positive spirit you embody as youths has no doubt played a crucial role in the socio-economic survivable and rejuvenation of Ondo Kingdom.
“As leaders of today and tomorrow,i admonish you all to practice and preach unity and peace at all times,exhibit patriotism at all levels,shun social vices and promote competence above parochial sentiments always.
“On my part,I shall stay the course and continue to offer my shoulders for all willing ondo youths to climb. This is why majority of the social intervention I have initiated in my 3 years in office has been centered towards youth development and self-reliance; the annual UTME forms purchase and coaching classes has benefited over 600 students in 21 secondary schools across the constituency,the GETS annual skills acquisition has benefitted over 200 young ladies across the constituency,and our employment facilitation has benefitted 17 constituents all of whom are mostly youths,with more still in the pipeline”.
“Lastly,I use this medium to reiterate my position that governments at all levels must renew its commitment to invest in our Youths to enable them prosper in all aspects of their developments. As Youths of Ondo kingdom,let us devote our energies and resources into shaping a better future for ourselves and our kingdom generally”.
