Erelu adds another prestigious award to her shelf as ” *Akoni Obinrin O’dua*”

ADP governorship candidate was today honored with an award and endorsed politically by the prestigious *Yoruba Study Group* led by veteran Nollywood movie star Peter Fatomilola.
Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle received a surprise visit by noon at her country home today by the *Yoruba Study Group* . The group was effectively represented by her president and four executives, each from four western states.
The event took place at exactly 3pm. An opening was said by the governorship candidate’s campaign organizer after which the president took to the stage by introducing himself and his executives before giving a brief run down of Yoruba’s history.
Next, the president read out a public address written by the group on the background, philanthropic accomplishments and a thrilling tribute to Ekiti’s first female governorship candidate.

Erelu Kemi Josephine Elebute-Halle connotes different things to different people. To the people of Ekiti state, she is an asset; to the men and women of her generation, she is our pride; to the Yoruba nations, she is a worthy ambassador; to the women fold, she is a role model; to Nigeria as a whole, she is a shinning light and to others she is a celebrity.
It was a moment of delight, smiles and cameras flashing lights as she was handed an award as *Akoni Obinrin O’dua* by Yoruba iconic movie star and *Yoruba Study Group Patron* , Peter Fatomilola. Along side the award she received a medal and a frame by the group’s president endorsing her as *”the most viable and most competent candidate to take Ekiti state to the promised land”.*
Erelu in her highest humility received the accolades and spoke passionately about her visions for Ekiti Indigenes. She appreciated the *grand gesture* from the group, gifted each of them jumbo sized rich hampers and cash gifts.
At the end of the award event, prayers were said and a round table merry took place.
