30 Years Anniversary: Rename Arigidi-Okeagbe Road To Honour T.B. Joshua Or We Stamped Events, Youths Tell Council Chairman | TheCity
The Youths from Akoko North West local government area of Ondo state have warned that the Arigidi-Okeagbe road must be renamed to honour the late Prophet Temitope Joshua as part of the events to celebrate the local government’s 30 years anniversary.
This was made known after an emergency meeting of Youths in the local government under the platform of Akoko North West Youth Forum (ANWYF) today.
Prophet T.B. Joshua, who died on June 5 2021 is the Founder of Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN).
The local government under Elder Samson Akande had lined up a week long event to celebrate the 30 years anniversary of the council.
According to the Acting President of the platform, Adojutelegan Mayowa, it is very disappointing that such a huge event will be organized in the local government without honouring the prophet.
“Prophet T.B. Joshua is an irreplaceable son of Akoko who touched lives and impacted the local government positively. It is an insult that a week long program will be organized without honouring him.
“The youths, as the biggest stakeholders in the local government hereby demand that the Arigidi-Okeagbe road must be renamed to honour him, for a start.
“We expect a positive response from the local government Chairman for we understand that he was one of the biggest beneficiaries of the man of God’s magnanimity. We have agreed that the failure to do this will attract serious protest from the youths which might affect the anniversary.” Adojutelegan said.
