Following his declaration to contest the Ondo North Senatorial seat in 2023, an All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain, Chief Alexander Oluremi Ajipe, has no doubt change the political landscape of his district as his people have continued to massively show their support towards the cause. His intention to contest came at a time when the people are yearning for a fresh start in the district. As the nation kick starts the process of electing new leadership across board in 2023, it has no doubt provided the needed platform to set motion in place to bring new lease of life into areas that have not witnessed development as expected and Ondo North Senatorial District is not going to be left out.
In his speech titled, “The Exigencies of a Fresh Start”, Chief Ajipe, the Irawo Ola of Yoruba Kingdom & Chairman, Ibi Giga Ambassadors explained that his decision to contest is based on his commitment and passion to drive positive transformation to the people in Ondo North Senatorial District.
Ajipe who said he is not a stranger to service further noted that he has come to lead and serve tremendously well with what God has given him stressing that it is high time to change the narratives of people of his district who.despite having.abundance of resources have been left to dwell and wabble in poverty.
Under his watch, Ajipe further assured the people he will use his leadership to re-engineer the socio-economic realities of the people for the better and give them the opportunity to thrive as they truly deserve.
He also said he will use his proven and verifiable record to birth positive change and ensure economic wealth and prosperity for the people.
No doubt, Chief Ajipe, has all the right qualities necessary as a true progressive to advance the cause of his people by harnessing and utilizing all resources for the collective gains of all the people in the senatorial district.
His representation will among others bridge the gap between the old and the new more so, at a time when the youths are agitating for youthful representation in governance.
Judging from his achievements under the present administration in Ondo State, Chief Ajipe has left no one in doubt of his ability to birth the desired change having served merritoriously as the backbone of Ondo State industrial Revolution, leading to the birth of a new economic reality for the people. This feat, he will no doubt replicate if given the opportunity.
There is therefore no better time to change the narratives through sustainable leadership and qualitative representation and as 2023 General Elections draws near, it is time to rewrite the wrong by making history with a man who has continued to set the pace in all ways possible.
Chief Alex Ajipe, born 7 May 1978 is a Nigerian businessman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.He is the MD/CEO of Klick Konnect Networks and Revenue & Industrial Consultant to Ondo State Government. He was a Panelist at the 74th United Nations General Assembly business round table in New York.
Early Life And Education
Alex was born in Emure-Ile, Owo, Ondo State. He is a graduate of Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) and Cologne school of Business, Germany where he bagged a diploma in project management. He later bagged a doctorate degree in Business administration and management at the West African Union University Cotonou, Benin Republic. He is married to Kehinde Ajipe, with whom he has three children
Career
Ajipe leads a number of organizations, including MVB Construction Co. Germany, We Farms Limited, Rural Urban Integrated Project Limited and Klick Konnect Networks, an international PR agency based in Nigeria.
Alex Ajipe has served as a consultant to the Nigerian government in different fields including Ministries of Natural Resources and Sport and Youth Development, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency as well as the Ondo State Development Investment and Promotion Agency
He facilitated local and foreign investments into the Nigerian economy in areas such as agriculture and its value chains, bitumen exploration and exploitation, and cement making. He facilitated the establishment of the Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub, a rapidly growing industrial Hub located in Omotosho, Ondo State. The hub currently has one of Nigeria’s largest ethanol producers, Nigeria’s first MDF Factory, a large-scale wood processing factory, a textile factory, a paper manufacturing factory, an automobile assembly plant, a wine distillery, amongst other existing production lines. The Industrial Hub was commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari on the 25th of February, 2020
Chronicle magazine awarded Ajipe for his Excellence alongside the Olowa Of Igbara-Oke in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. The Yoruba Redemption Foundation also bestowed an award on him in 2017. In 2019, he rejected a nomination to receive an honorary doctorate degree in South Africa because of the xenophobic attack on other Africans in South Africa.
